Storm reports using ‘rnoaa’ Ran across a new R package called ‘rnoaa’ – see http://ropensci.org/blog/2014/03/13/rnoaa/ You need an API key, which you can get here http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/cdo-web/token. I used it with ggmap and ggplot to plot storm reports from this summer. Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading... Jason Reply Hey jason, I need to figure out how to put the code into the blog and make it cooperate and look good… I’ll work on that. In the meantime, if you want the code you can email me at meteorologistLisaVaughn@gmail.com Reply Thanks Lisa! could you maybe email me the code at firstname.lastname@example.org By the way, a good way to embed code on you blog site is using Pretty-R (http://www.inside-r.org/pretty-r) You can check out some examples where I’ve used it on a blog I run at this link – http://www.jason-doug-climate.blogspot.com Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
